What this service is, and what it is not

Decision support, not a warranty

Elarix produces a traceable reading of measurement data you supply. Every figure it displays is computed directly from your delivered source and can be traced back to the originating cell. We do not warrant the accuracy or completeness of the underlying measurement data, and the analysis is intended to inform commercial judgement rather than replace it. Decisions taken on the basis of it remain yours.

No causal or elasticity claims

The service reports co-movement against a stated baseline. It does not claim causation, does not estimate price elasticity, and does not attribute contribution to promotion. Where the data cannot support a conclusion, the service says so rather than estimating. Any figure described in the interface as a limitation is a limitation, not a caveat.

Access is revocable

Access is granted for a specific workspace and may be withdrawn by either party at any time and without notice. Entitlement is verified on every request rather than once at sign-in, so a withdrawal is never waiting out a session.

How quickly it takes effect depends on how the access was granted, and the difference is worth stating plainly. Where access comes from membership of your organisation, removing the member ends it on their very next request. Where access was granted to a named individual outside an organisation, it is held in the service’s configuration, and withdrawal takes effect when that configuration is next released — usually the same working day. If you need an individual’s access ended immediately, tell us and we will release the change rather than wait. Accounts are not transferable and credentials must not be shared.

Your data stays yours

Data you supply remains yours. We hold it solely to produce your analysis. We do not sell it and we do not use it, or anything derived from it, to train models. We do not disclose the existence of an engagement: the service is built so that a workspace you are not entitled to is indistinguishable from one that does not exist.

Running the service requires infrastructure we do not own, and we would rather name it than imply there is none. Your data is processed and stored by the providers listed below, each under contract and each acting only on our instructions. Nobody else receives it.

• Cloud hosting and content delivery. The application runs on a global edge network. To keep a monthly report fast on repeat visits, figures derived from your data are held in that network’s cache for up to seven days. Access is checked against your entitlement on every request before anything cached is read, so a cached figure is never a way around a permission.
• Database hosting. Your loaded data sits in a database on a dedicated server, reachable only through an authenticated gateway.
• Identity and sign-in. A specialist provider verifies who you are. It holds your name, email and organisation membership. It never receives your analysis.

Development of the service uses AI coding tools, and those tools receive source code only. Sending them client data of any kind — your figures, your files, database exports, or anything identifying you — is prohibited, and that prohibition is enforced in the engineering rules rather than left to habit.

What we record

We keep an access record so we can tell you who saw what and when. It stores identifiers only — the time, the workspace, the user and organisation identifiers, the outcome, and which screen was requested. It has no field capable of holding a KPI value, a client name, or free text of any kind. That is enforced by the shape of the record, not by policy alone.

Availability

The service is provided during an evaluation without an availability commitment. Where data cannot be read, it declines to display figures rather than showing partial or stale ones.

Changes
